Psalm 2024
What sun can cast your shadow
or planet contain it?
No microscope or telescope
can show us your face.
What galaxy may hide you,
what fly escape your watchful eye?
There is no speck of sand within which
you could not fit another universe!
What star is not a twinkling in your eye,
what solar flare not love leaping
from your heart?
No ocean’s deep and wide enough
to rinse your palette.
What word in any tongue
encapsulates your amplitude,
what poem?
The greatest scientific minds - past,
present, and yet to come -
all working together , cannot
decrypt your formula for life.
What liar can deceive you
or deception change your mind?
No catastrophic evil can change
your objective
nor thwart your victory!
What alien or artificial intelligence
can override your will
or disrupt its perfect timing?
No soul so lost you cannot find,
nor bludgeoned heart you cannot heal.
The deafening sounds of Armageddon
will not turn you from an unborn child's scream.
